Branching from the concept of serious versus unserious art, I chose to remake a photograph from my childhood into an oil painting. The photograph shows my father guiding me on a computer paint program. I chose this as the photograph to recreate to show that art at all stages, technical skill level, and concept are important. Plus my dad has a mullet.
