I use vibrant oranges and fluorescent lime green to depict a humorous sexual scene between two women. A dynamic composition from an intimate, suggestive vantage point adds as voyeuristic quality to the work; the viewer becomes a third party in the act depicted. The kiss mark on the left butt-cheek and the reference to strap culture suggests a dominant/submissive dynamic that switches between the two figures, portraying the “big dick energy” of the lesbian community through a lens that excludes the male gaze.
